CLD ITMO University has the resources of lighting engineering laboratory for holistic analysis of lighting environment. Laboratory staff specializes in optical calculations, photometric measurement of lighting devices, modeling and production of lighting fixtures. The laboratory is equipped with stationary and portable measuring devices.
Stationary devices are designed to control and measure lighting parameters of lighting sources. Among such devices are measurement system based on integrating sphere, photometer, power supplies, spectrometer, goniophotometer to determine the luminous intensity distribution.
Portable devices are designed to control and measure lighting parameters of lighting fixtures and the effect of light. Among portable devices: luminance meters, spectrometer, photometric camera, luxmeter, power, temperature and humidity measuring instruments.
