Experts by CLD ITMO University jointly with SPb GUP “Lensvet” officially presented research innovative project in the framework of the thematic Week “Energy. Integrated innovative technologies and solutions for engineering infrastructure”. Innovative research project will be used as the basis to create target program for development of lighting in St. Petersburg for the period 2018 – 2030 with the perspective to 2050. It’s the first state project in the world, which includes the big data solution, analysis and conceptual foresight of the development of lighting environment in the context of improving the quality of life and developing the energy efficiency

The thematic Week “Energy. Integrated innovative technologies and solutions for engineering infrastructure” of Power and Engineering Maintenance Committee under the Administration of the St. Petersburg Government took place on November 22–24, 2017 at the Import Substitution and Localization Centre of Saint-Petersburg. In the framework of the plenary session experts by CLD ITMO University jointly with SPb GUP “Lensvet” officially presented research innovative project.

Format of the thematic week included display exposition with the participation of keynote organizations of Power and Engineering Maintenance Committee. There were the main plenary session, roundtables, consultancy units as well as presentation sessions, a working meeting and Subcontracting Exchange involving "Vodokanal of St. Petersburg", State unitary enterprise TEK SPb and SPb GUP “Lensvet”.

The main plenary session "Integrated innovative development of St. Petersburg. Lighting environment" took place on 22 November 2017 in the conference hall. It was dedicated to the implementation of Strategy for scientific and technological development in Russia, innovative development of engineering complex. Among the participants were Igor Albin, Vice-Governor of St Petersburg, Roman Berdnikov, First Deputy General Director & Member of Management Board of JSC Rosseti, Sergey Shuvalov, Director of the Department of technological development and innovation of JSC Lenenergo, Grigory Ivliev, Head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Vladimir Raspopov, Deputy General Director of the Industrial Development Fund of the Ministry of Industry of the Russian Federation.

ITMO University was presented by Natalia Bystriantseva, Head of CLD ITMO University and The Creative Association of Lighting Designers RULD. Expert introduced research innovative project “The Complex Development Program of the city St. Petersburg as the center of lighting culture for the period 2018–2030 with the perspective to 2050”. There is being developed by members from CLD ITMO University with involvement of leading laboratories of Schools of Photonics and Translation Information Technologies at ITMO University jointly with SPb GUP “Lensvet”.

Innovative research project will be used as the basis to create target program for development of lighting in St. Petersburg for the period 2018 – 2030 with the perspective to 2050. It’s the first state project in the world, which includes the big data solution, analysis and conceptual foresight of the development of lighting environment in the context of improving the quality of life and developing the energy efficiency on the example of Saint-Petersburg.

VR and Eye-tracking technology, modern programming technologies, marketing research and analysis of lighting urban environment were used in the research work. All participants could see technologies and their application in the framework of research and light environment analysis of Saint-Petersburg at the exhibition on 22 November 2017 at the booth of Import Substitution and Localization Centre of Saint-Petersburg.
